About The Class

Awaken and align your body with this rejuvenating morning session. Yin Yoga is loved by seasoned yogis and is also a wonderful intro class for those who are coming to yoga for the first time. In this class you will engage in the beneficial stretch of fascia while gently activating arms and legs to support the joints, accompanied with guidance to practice breath awareness as we move through each posture. Yin Yoga is a practice of long-held poses which elicit sensation, asking us to use breath as we remain in each posture from 1 to 4 minutes. Each class begins with a Metta meditation. Props are utilized for a safe and healthy experience. Join with other “Yinsters” who love the practice of engaged Yin Yoga!

Held Mondays & Thursdays 10-11:30am PDT.

 

 

You will need:

  • A Yoga Mat

  • Yoga Blankets (1-2)

  • Yoga Blocks (2-3)

  • Yoga Strap (1)

  • Yoga Bolster (recommended)

  • Tune-up balls (optional)

  • Your open mind and heart
